What we collect, and why.

What we collect

Your email address, to sign you in (magic link) and to reach you about your account.
Your Substack connection. With your permission we read your published notes and their public statistics, and your follower and subscriber counts, to build your dashboard and your writing suggestions. Credentials are stored encrypted and used only to act on your behalf in ways you configured.
Content you create in Glen — drafts, queued notes, captures, and (if you connect it) your Readwise highlights.
Basic product usage (pages visited, features used) to improve the product.

What we never do

We never post, like, follow, or message anyone on your behalf beyond what you explicitly queued.
We never read your email inbox, your private Substack drafts, or your subscriber list.
We never use your writing to build features for anyone else's account, and we never sell or share your data with advertisers or data brokers.

Third parties we rely on

We use service providers to run the product — hosting, database, email delivery, and an AI provider that processes your notes to produce your suggestions. Each receives only what it needs to do its job, and none may use your data for their own purposes.

Retention and deletion

Disconnecting your Substack removes the stored credentials. Deleting your account deletes your data; you can also email us to request deletion at any time. Drafts and queued notes are yours and exportable.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll tell you by email before it takes effect.
